4. Will my equipment begin to look shabby after just a few sessions at the gym?

   Typical, leather-based gear will stain, discolour, harbour bacteria (we've all had our skin break out on our foreheads where the leather head band presses tightly, haven't we?), and often takes on an odour of its own…one most of us would rather it not have. Most foam-dipped gear (the cheap ones) will split or develop micro-cracks after just a few uses, again harbouring bacteria and odours.
